Post-production


This stage of the games development is the finalization of the mechanics and needs of the game based on what we intended in our GDD and pitch presentation. 

In-Engine, the main elements we have focused on implementing as high-priority are ones such as:

  • Importing of artists character assets with rigs and textures
  • Animation blueprints for these characters and rigging weapons to them
  • Adding the characters to the main menu screen and character selection so they can be played
  • Merging of both versions of the project (Melee class and Ranged class)
  • Finalization of the playable level design, main menu and character select levels as well
  • Persistent score data for the player that wins, so when a best 2/3 score is met, a player is declared the winner
  • Updating UI elements to have custom icons and designs
